I just discovered how window portraits are done. I could have used a background and a reflector but for purposes of pose this came out so well and so easy. I had Ashley face a north window at 45 degrees and the first shot (this one) took a shot with the camera straight on. Then I moved to an oblique position (she didn't move) and took 2. Then I moved to a profile position and took 3. 3 different shots, same lighting and exposure, took less than a minute. I then added a dark background and repeated the shots.
