My biggest problem has always been getting into pre-conceived ideas. Like using a wide-angle for landscape and a long lens for close-ups. So scenery like this passes by me as being too far. I would still like some foreground which can only be done with a wider-angle lens but the 80-200 does a great job of bringing the mountains closer. I suppose this is because my 'cropping' skills have improved..hence the more use. But this just dawned on me this morning.
