I always bring my camera to experiment with different lighting conditions and at this party I messed up the WB. I reviewed my last D70 results and the outcome was great. The D200 results this time were erratic and too warm. It looks like the behaviour of the D200 with regards to flash is much different to the D70. I am amazed at the internet and all the forums. I went to DPReview and search for D200 WB and there was an exact duplicate of my shooting situation and the recommendations to avoid it in the future. http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1021&message=21416035
In this post I also discovered that Photoshop has camera filter options which can be used instead of actual physical filters. Incredible...
