It's raining a lot today and I couldn't be bothered to bring the D200 so it was up to the cellphone to capture some images. I am finding that I am liking quite a number of my images even though they have been taken with a cellphone. I just like the way I have been able to compose them and see the light and shadows.

Just loved the way this came out...just outside the back door to my brother's house. I have finally learned how to crop my photos and they are coming out so much nicer and easier.

Something has clicked in my mind. After reading a book on photography concepts I have discovered the 'cropping' that I like for my photos and now I seem to like most of the photos that I take. I seem to be not looking at just the subject but the whole photo in totality and the results are more and more to my liking.

I'm doing a lot of cellphones photo recently. It's just so handy and you don't have to lug a heavy camera around. I love the IPhone the best as it has post processing capabilities and direct posting to flickr, twitter, facebook and even blogger.
